Auger Samplers CPCH series

The CPCH Series Auger Samplers are suitable for sampling various types of powder and granular products. They are typically installed in storage hoppers and tanks (CPCH_A version) or in product downpipes (CPCH_B version).

The sampling device consists of an auger that conveys the product from inside the process to the outside and discharges it by gravity into suitable containers or bags, according to the specific requirements. The sampling auger is driven by a gearmotor sized according to the required sampling rates. Three-phase or brushless motors are available depending on the specific requirements.

An ATEX version is available for internal Zone 21 and external Zone 21/22 applications.

The transmission unit, as well as the process connection, is secured by a Tri-Clamp connection, allowing quick disassembly for cleaning and easy access to all components of the sampler.

A version with a pneumatic motor and a manual version with handwheel operation are also available.

The auger can rotate in both directions, allowing both product sampling and product discharge back into the hopper or downpipe.

Standard construction materials are AISI 304 and 316L stainless steel, with mirror-polished finishes.

The auger diameter can range from a minimum of 20 mm to a maximum of 54 mm, depending on the type of product and the required sampling rate.

A control cabinet can be supplied as an option, equipped with an inverter, direction selector switch and timer, allowing sampling operations to be managed according to a programmed sequence of work and pause cycles.
